Nattokinase is a nutrient (enzyme) that participates in the natural process that prevents the formation of blood clots – fibrinolysis. This makes it possible to neutralize the remaining fragments of the blood coagulation process. With the activation of blood clotting plasma factors (usually after trauma or injury), a specific platelet substance, thrombin, is generated. Thrombin’s role is to convert platelet-derived coagulation factor–fibrinogen (a glycoprotein) into an insoluble protein (fibrin). Fibrin is a protein that promotes the production of the active serine protease thrombin.
Enzymes supporting hemostasis (blood clotting) are more than 20, but only one is anti-clotting, i.e. as anticoagulant-plasmin. Recommended daily intake: Take 1 (one) capsule per day – 1 (one) hour before a meal or 2 (two) hours after a meal.
